He said that there are 18,000 ponds in the villages of the state and the panchayats can get these ponds cleaned at their own level. The Chief Minister said that the aim of holding Jan Samvad programmes is to interact with the people about their grievances and ensure that the benefits of various policies and schemes implemented by the state government are reaching the general public. Project related to water works in Khairekan village will be expedited, completed soon The Chief Minister said that the project of water works at Khairekan village at a cost of Rs.2.25 crore will be expedited and completed soon. Apart from this, remodeling work has been done on Abudgarh distributary and Sukhchain distributary for irrigation in the village fields, due to which adequate irrigation facilities are being made available to the farmers. Stressing upon the depleting groundwater level of Khairekan village, the Chief Minister appealed the farmers to save water by adopting micro-irrigation project. Farmers can also recharge water through their borewells during the rainy season, he added. Meanwhile, on the shortage of teachers, the Chief Minister said that it will be fulfilled in the next three months. On the demand of upgrading the Government High School of Khairekan village to Government Senior Secondary School, he said that this school would be upgraded after increase in the number of students in Classes 9th and 10th. 24 hours power supply being given in the village Manohar Lal said that electricity is being supplied 24 hours in the village. He said that out of 6200 villages in the state, 24-hour power supply is being provided in 5600 villages. He said that sufficient amount of electricity is being supplied to the farmers and in villages where electricity is not being supplied as per the schedule; it will be resolved. 171 people of Khairekan village availed benefits of Ayushman Yojana Describing Ayushman Yojana as a boon and effective for the poor, the Chief Minister said that under this scheme, 171 people of Khairekan village have availed benefits by getting their treatment done of worth Rs 24.40 lakh; free of cost. He said that ration cards have been linked with the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) and the families who have not yet got their PPP made; should get it done at the earliest. Earlier there were 340 ration cards in Khairekan village and now 628 ration card holders are getting the benefits of the government schemes, he added. (editor dailyworld.in)
