Healthy Food Festival was organised by the Department of Life Sciences under the banner of Red Ribbon Club, Mohali and Mahatma Gandhi National Council for Rural Education. The Food Festival received overwhelming response from the participants and visitors.



Participants prepared healthy and innovative dishes which were judged by the external jury members on the basis of nutritional value, taste and presentation. Seven best dishes were declared by jury members.



Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra, who was the Chief Guest at the function, interacted with the participants and appreciated their efforts in preparing nutritious food. He stressed that today's generation must learn about the basic techniques like food preparation, driving and other routine skills.



Vice-Chancellor Dr Parvinder Singh, Guest of Honour, appreciated the healthy items prepared by students and motivated them to broaden their horizons to take it to startup's level.
