Nine years ago, during the tenure of previous governments, Haryana grappled with a stifling atmosphere marked by disappointment and favouritism, where emphasis on caste and class distinctions reigned, our government prioritized public welfare. However, people in the Opposition still talk about caste-based politics. All parties are making announcements to appoint Deputy Chief Ministers from different castes. We stand against caste-based politics, said Manohar Lal. He said that despite the Prime Minister s call for ending caste-oriented politics these parties persist in their divisive strategies, tarnishing the integrity of the democracy. The government s initiatives speak volumes about their dedication to the welfare of the citizens. Implementing numerous schemes tailored to address the challenges faced by the underprivileged, we have effectively used information technology to ensure that the benefits of these programs reach grassroots levels, said Manohar Lal. The Chief Minister said that the Congress has always chanted the slogan of eradicating poverty. Sometimes they ran programs based on four principles, sometimes on twenty principles. In reality, they kept playing a deceitful game with the poor. But now, the public won t be swayed by their deceit, said Manohar Lal.He said that before the year 2014, the government used to both rob and deceive the public. However, the present state government considered nearly 2.83 crore people of Haryana as a part of our family and worked for their well-being. We worked to implement all the schemes of the central and state governments for their welfare, said Manohar Lal. (editor dailyworld.in)
