The Chief Minister Manohar Lal s vision manifested today when the Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, arrived as the Chief Guest at the Antyodaya Mahasammelan, held here to mark the 57th anniversary celebrations of Haryana Day at Karnal today. This state-level programme proved significant in many ways as the event saw significant participation by women, with 5 out of 17 entrances exclusively for women. In the heart of Haryana lies the Karnal district, a place that historically sowed the seeds of the Green Revolution and is now nurturing a promising transition toward what s been coined as the White Revolution. This transformation, spearheaded by Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, extends far beyond agriculture, encapsulating a paradigm shift towards gender equality and societal progress. At the core of this evolution stands the figure of Sultan Singh, a fish farmer from Karnal who was recently bestowed with the prestigious Padma Shri Award, signifying the district s contributions to the realm of agriculture. Karnal, once a significant player in the Green Revolution, is now embracing diversification, notably progressing towards what seems to be a White Revolution, possibly indicative of a burgeoning focus on dairy and animal husbandry, marking a shift in the district s agricultural landscape. The district is making advancements in the cooperative sector, evident from the inauguration of an Agro Mall by Union Cooperation Minister, Sh. Amit Shah, transformed into a HAFED Export House. This initiative centralised HAFED products for ease of export. Marking the 57th anniversary celebrations of Haryana Day today, Union Home and Cooperation Minister, Amit Shah along with the Chief Minister, Manohar Lal attended the Antyodaya Mahasammelan held at Karnal. The event unfolded as a platform not only for social service but also as a beacon for women s empowerment. The significant female presence emphasised the ongoing commitment to inclusivity and equality. As the Union Home Minister fervently interacted with the gathering, the interaction reflected the ideals of the Chief Minister, Manohar Lal, on prioritising the service to society through the spirit of Antyodaya. This unequivocally indicates that Manohar Lal remains the favoured leader of the party for the upcoming elections. The Antyodaya Mahasammelan showcased noticeable female participation, with 5 out of the total 17 entrances exclusively designated for women. These particular gates saw continuous queues of women eagerly entering the event. (editor dailyworld.in)
