A pivotal District Level Udyog Bandhu and Law Security Committee meeting was held today in the Collectorate Auditorium, chaired by District Magistrate Divya Mittal and attended by Superintendent of Police Sankalp Sharma.

The District Magistrate emphasized the creation of a land bank to attract new industries. He instructed the Chief Revenue Officer to compile a list of large farmers willing to sell land for industrial development, ensuring entrepreneurs can readily access available land.

Key issues discussed included the beautification of the Government Industrial Estate park in Deoria. The DM urged entrepreneurs to utilize CSR funds for installing benches, gates, and health ATMs. Additionally, the EO Nagar Palika Deoria was tasked with regular drain cleaning in the estate. Regarding the boundary wall construction of the Industrial Park in Usra Bazaar, the DM directed UPSIDA to prepare a proposal and suggested temporary wire fencing as an immediate solution.

Deputy Commissioner Industries Khushboo Singh announced the establishment of a training centre in Salempur under the State Extension and Training Center Reconstruction and Strengthening Scheme, with land already identified for the project.

The DM also reviewed employment-oriented schemes like PMEGP, MYSY, and ODOP, stressing timely loan disbursement to facilitate self-employment. He urged officers to personally monitor the Nivesh Mitra portal and warned of accountability for any investment-related delays. Along with the SP, CDO Pratyush Pandey was also present.
