Sushil Kukreja, Virender Singh sworn in as Himachal HC Judges

Sushil Kukreja and Virender Singh were sworn in as the Judges of the Himachal Pradesh High Court here today. Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar administered the oath of office to the newly appointed judges, at Raj Bhawan in a simple but an impressive ceremony. Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur and Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court Justice Amjad Ahtesham Sayed were also present on the occasion.
The ceremony took place at the Darbar Hall of the Raj Bhawan, where Chief Secretary R.D. Dhiman conducted the proceedings of the oath ceremony and read out the warrant of appointment issued by the President of India, regarding appointment of Sushil Kukreja and Virender Singh as Judge of the High Court of Himachal Pradesh.
Secretary to the Governor Rajesh Sharma obtained the signature of the Governor and the newly appointed Judges on the oath form.
Urban Development Minister Suresh Bhardwaj, Judges of Himachal Pradesh High Court, Chairperson, Human Rights Commission Justice P.S. Rana, MLAs, Advocate General Ashok Sharma, Chairman of various Boards and Corporations, senior officers of the State Government, Court officials and other prominent people were also present on the occasion.
CM flags off Mukhya Mantri Mobile Clinic Vehicles
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur flagged off 10 Mukhya Mantri Mobile Clinic Vehicles on the occasion of 76th Independence Day State level function at Sarahan in district Sirmaur today.
Jai Ram Thakur said that the State Government has given the prominence to health services in the far flung areas of the State.
He said that a Mobile Clinic Vehicle service for every assembly constituency area of the state had been announced in the budget for the year 2022-23. Under this Mukhya Mantri Mobile Clinic service, 10 vehicles were being flagged off to provide health services to the people of remote and far f
lung areas.
