category Regional,, tags Regional,, DW BUREAU The Department of Computer Applications of Rayat Bahra University organized a rally under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity on Save Water for MCA and BCA students. The main objective of this CSR activity was to raise awareness at all levels of society about the importance of saving water to cope with its scarcity and to change our attitude and behaviour to highlight judicious use of water. Chancellor of Rayat Bahra University Gurvinder Singh Bahra and Vice-Chancellor Dr Parvinder Singh addressed the staff and appreciated the students for the good initiative. The VC said If you save water it will save you . Speaking on the occasion, Dean Dr Ajay Sharma emphasized that these activities played a vital role in enhancing the motivation skills of the student and that is the need of the hour. He also elaborated on regularly conducting these types of activities. Anita Goyal, Head of the Department of Computer Applications, who conducted the CSR activity motivated the students to increase awareness on conservation of water and dwelt on the importance of water towards achieving a sustainable healthy lifestyle.
