DW BUREAU / Chandigarh Haryana Governor and Chancellor Bandaru Dattatraya on Thursday said that the new campus of the country's first Sri Krishna Ayush University would be built on 103 acres of land at Fatupur village in Kurukshetra. An amount of Rs 500 crore will be spent by the government for the construction of the new building of this university. The construction work will be carried out in the next 36 months. Dattatraya was speaking at a program organized by the university administration in the premises of Sri Krishna Ayush University. He along with MLA Shri Subhash Sudha, Vice Chancellor Dr Baldev Dhiman, Deputy Commissioner Shri Mukul Kumar and other officers also inspected the state-of-the-art Ayurvedic lab of the university and also planted a sapling on the campus. He praised the power point presentation prepared by the university administration on the work done during the Covid-19, new research works and the progress of five years of the university. He also praised Chief Minister Shri Manohar Lal for ensuring the university has a new and vibrant building. (editor@dailyworld.in)
