DW BUREAU / Mohali Prof Parvinder Singh, Vice-Chancellor of the Rayat Bahra University, delivered a talk at the 4th Edition of the 'Global Education & Skill Conclave' organized by the APAC News Network in New Delhi and was honoured at the conclave. Speaking at the conclave, Dr Parvinder Singh said it was important to know how geared are the faculty to impart more experiential learning both in regular and vocational streams under the New Education Policy (NEP). He also dwelt on the key provisions of the NEP that would impact universities and other academic institutions of higher education. He said that with schools and universities as well as other academies institutions of higher learning and K-12 education having now opened up after revival from the challenges of the pandemic, the 4th Global Education & Skills Conclave (GESC) was organized in-person. Dr Singh said the 2-day conclave involving 100+ education decision makers and 10+ government policymakers focused on the repercussions and impact of the New Educational Policy (NEP), upskilling the teaching fraternity, emergence and deployment of new-gen technologies in tomorrow's academic ecosystem as well as how the education decision makers are rolling out the education roadmap in the future.
