RBU ties up with COE for tourism, hospitality

category Regional,, tags Regional,, DW BUREAU Centre of Excellence (Tourism and Hospitality), has tied up with Rayat Bahra University for the benefit of its students by providing them hands-on experience at the state-of-the-art campus at Waknaghat, Solan with international certifications and guaranteed placements with a minimum package of Rs 3 lakh per annum. This is after a successful first year, where the first batch of the prestigious Centre of Excellence Tourism and Hospitality has seen cent percent placement at some of the finest hotel brands in the country and abroad at a minimum annual package of Rs 3 lakh after completing their paid internship minimum Rs 5,000 per month in various domains. COE Tourism and hospitality, an initiative of the of the Himachal Pradesh Kaushal Vikas Nigam (HPKVN), is operationalized by Mind Leaders India and Lemon Tree Consortium and is all set to launch its second batch at the fully residential campus in Waknaghat, Solan. The COE runs a series of high-quality courses, spread over 12 months which are hugely subsidized for Himachali students. They can enroll for these courses at Rs 22,500 and also avail hostel accommodation which also is highly subsidized. Apart from the exciting course fees the COE students have access to a host of other benefits like free daily meals, free courseware, free uniform, free lab amenities, free certification by Himachal government, Lemon Tree, Mind Leaders Learning, AHLEI (American Hospitality and Lodging Educational Institute).
