DW BUREAU / Mohali Students and faculty members of the University School of Law of the Rayat Bahra University attended the 3rd Memorial Lecture in the memory of Justice Madan Mohan Punchhi "The need for legal reform to keep up with the advent of technology". Justice Hemant Gupta, Judge of the Supreme Court, was the Chief Guest and Justice GS Sandhawalia, Judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court, and Baldev Mahajan, Advocate General of Haryana, were the Guests of Honour. Advocate General Baldev Singh Mahajan gave detailed information on "How technology is used in the legal system". Justice Hemant Gupta interacted with the students and faculty members. Justice G.S Sandhawalia shared information about the complete digital legal drafting with the students. The students were mentored under the guidance of faculty members of Rayat Bahra University, Monica Bains, Sunil kaushik, Priyanka Dhiman and Amanpreet. The purpose of taking students to attend the lecture was to make the students interact with judges of the Supreme Court and to make them aware of legal reforms in the context of advances in technology.
