RBU hosts national moot court competition

The Rayat Bahra University School of Law organized the 5th National Moot Court Competition virtually.
Chancellor of the RBU Gurvinder Singh Bahra and Vice-Chancellor Dr Parvinder Singh welcomed the participating teams.
Dr Richa Ranjan, Professor and Dean, University School of Law, speaking on the occasion said it was a matter of pleasure and pride that the University School of Law of the Rayat Bahra University witnessed the participation of teams from across the nation and after scrutiny of memorials the teams qualified for the preliminary round.
Inauguration of the final round was done by chief guest Dr Paramjit Singh Jaswal, Vice-Chancellor, SRM University, Haryana. Welcoming the dignitaries Vice-chancellor Dr Parvinder Singh said that the University School of Law, Rayat Bahra University is proud to provide a platform for the students to have a wonderful experience of arguing amidst an eminent panel of leading practitioners and experts, and develop a deeper understanding of law.
Dr Nishtha Jaswal, Vice-Chancellor Himachal Pradesh national law university (HPNLU), graced the occasion as Guest of Honour. Teams of final round were judged by Dr Bindu Jindal, Dean and Head, Markandeshwar Deemed to be University (MMDU) and Dr Ruchi, HPNLU.
All the team members registered an enthusiastic participation. Team from School for Excellence in Law, Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University, got the first position. Adv. Balasaheb Apte College of Law, Dadar(W), Mumbai stood runner up.
V Vishnu Priya from School for Excellence in Law, Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University, was declared as best orator. Punreesh, Symbiosis Law School, Pune, was selected as
best mooter.
Army Institute of Law, Mohali, got best memorials award and Gurusha Bhalla, MMDU, got selected for best court ethics.
