Upliftment of the poorest of the poor is the utmost priority of state government, said the Chief Minister while interacting with the people at Janta Darbar organized at his residence 'Sant Kabir Kutir' today. In the Janata Darbar, the representatives of the nomadic tribes shared their issues before the Chief Minister and apprised him that the benefits of permanent housing facilities should also be made available to them. Responding to this, the Chief Minister said that a 200 yards area, which is already in possession of the nomadic tribes would be given to them provided they have any valid certificate and they have been in possession of the land till March 31, 2000. Also, they will have to pay some amount to the State Government, he added.
Besides this, people of nomadic tribes identified through Parivar Pehchan Patra, whose income is less than Rs 1.80 lakh per annum, will also be given houses through the Housing for All Department, said Sh. Manohar Lal. The Chief Minister said that the main objective of the present State Government is to uplift the poor families and bring them into the mainstream and to achieve this goal, the poorest families residing in the state who are having an annual income of less than Rs 1.80 lakh have been identified through the ambitious initiative Parivar Pehchan Patra. Not only this, a unique scheme, Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana has also been implemented for ensuring economic upliftment of such families. The Chief Minister said that till 70 years of independence, the previous governments never bothered to do the kind of welfare work for the poor that is being done today. Whether it is to provide housing to the poor, ration, or any other facility, we are giving benefits to all in a systematic manner with complete transparency. For this, Parivar Pehchan Patra, an ambitious initiative of the State Government has been started, through which welfare of the poorest of the state, irrespective of the caste, is being ensured. Upholding this spirit, all those having an annual income of less than Rs 1.80 lakh are being covered under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, said Manohar Lal.
The Chief Ministers said that State Government is working on the moto of making people self reliant and for this Antyodaya Melas are being organized under the Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana. So far around 2.5 lakh families have attended these Melas. Out of these, loans of 40,000 families have been sanctioned. "Will not stop, till we achieve our aim of increasing the annual income of poor families' upto Rs. 2 lakh," said Manohar Lal. The Chief Minister said that now no one has to make rounds of government offices to get their ration card made. As per their income slabs, Yellow, Khaki, Pink and Green cards of all the families are being generated automatically through the Parivar Pehchan Patra and they are getting the benefit of all government facilities while sitting at home.
Manohar Lal said that special attention will be given through the Common Service Centers for the redressal of the grievances of such citizens who are facing any document uploading related difficulty to take benefits of various schemes online. But now by focusing on the Common Service Centers redressal of all such grievances would also be ensured well in time, said the Chief Minister.
