New police station to be set up in Naveen Nagar of Faridabad

This decision comes in response to the need for strengthening recently in the face of the growing population and expanding urbanization in the region. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal gave administrative sanction to this proposal of Police Department here today. Giving more information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that the proposed police station aims to enhance law enforcement services, maintain public order, and facilitate prompt judicial proceedings in the Naveen Nagar area. Currently, the nearest police station, Thana Palla, serves as a vital temporary outpost. However, given the significant distance between Thana Palla and Naveen Nagar, the need for a dedicated police station has become imperative. He informed that the proposed jurisdiction of the Naveen Nagar police station will encompass Agwanpur, Basantpur, Ismailpur, disputed land of Durga Builders, Naveen Nagar Society, and approximately 25 other colonies. This area is of paramount importance as it is situated near the border with Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, with the Yamuna River flowing through its vicinity. He further stated that the establishment of the Naveen Nagar police station will not only bolster law enforcement efforts but also address the sensitivities and concerns of the local community.
