Sports Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer, along with legislators from different constituencies, attended the departmental meeting with officials to review ongoing development works. During the meeting, officials were directed to release undisbursed funds quickly under different schemes according to guidelines for the benefit of the public. The state government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is actively working to provide basic amenities, a clean environment, and pollution-free surroundings to the residents of Punjab. The state government is committed to carrying out development projects across the state for the fulfillment of this purpose. During the review meeting, detailed discussions were conducted on projects related to the Swachh Bharat Mission and Amrut Mission in various cities and towns like Dhuri, Sangrur, Bhawanigarh, Longowal, Sunam, Cheema, Dirba, Lehargag, Moonak, Khanaur, Barnala, Dhanaula, Handiaya, Tapa, Bhadaur, Dharamkot, Fatehgarh Panjtoor, Kot Ise Khan, Baghapurana, Badhnikala, Nihal Singh Wala. Information about the funds allocated and action plans under these schemes was obtained, and officials were urged to complete these projects promptly. Similarly, detailed discussions were held about the availability of locations for sewerage treatment plants and water treatment plants in different areas.
