Senior Congress leader, Bajwa while addressing the media persons said that Sukhpal Singh Khaira was being targeted in a well-planned political conspiracy by the AAP government merely because he was a vocal critic of the AAP government particularly in view of his recent bringing to the public domain the sexual misconduct of Cabinet Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak. AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann must take cognizance of the issue and complete the SIT probe against the cabinet minister as sooner as possible. Such a mentally sick minister has no right to stay in the cabinet. He should be dismissed from the cabinet immediately and must be arrested consequently. He should be booked under the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act because the victim has claimed in the video that the incident occurred in 2013 when he was a minor , Bajwa added. The opposition leader said that a similar video has surfaced in which the PA of Moga MLA, Dr Amandeep Kaur allegedly sexually abused a minor. However, the AAP and the MLA disowned him after the video had gone viral. Earlier, AAP MLA from Jalalabad, Jagdeep Goldy Kamboj snapped ties with his father, Surinder Kamboj after he was arrested for extorting money. MLA Amit Rattan Kotfatta had also disowned his PA when he was caught red-handed taking a bribe. Meanwhile, I am unable to understand why AAP leadership always practices the same act of distancing itself from their own people who were caught indulging in unlawful activities , Bajwa added.
