category Regional, chandigarh, , tags Regional, chandigarh, , DW BUREAU Chandigarh In view of the steps taken by the Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal to promote adventure sports and tourism in the Shivalik and Aravalli mountain ranges of the state, the National Adventure Club organised the 30th National Adventure Festival from February 2 to 10, 2024, in the Morni Hills. Sharing information in this regard an official spokesperson said that about 275 boys and girls from all over the country between the age group of 16-45 participated along with a team of seven participants from Bangladesh in this Festival. He said the competitions included activities like trekking, rock climbing, repelling, river rafting, snow skiing, archery, commando obstacle, river crossing, etc. He stated that before being sent to Solang Valley in Manali (Himachal Pradesh), all participants were required to climb from Mountain Quil to Karoh Peak, the highest point of 1467 metres of the Morni hills.
