This significant achievement has been revealed in the recent periodic labor force survey conducted by the National Statistical Office of the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation, spanning from April to June 2023. Chief Minister Manohar Lal s commitment to development has propelled Haryana on a path of continuous progress. As the state advances industrially, opportunities for employment are flourishing. Each day sees new companies investing in Haryana, thereby providing a multitude of job prospects for the state s youth. In addition, the state government s innovative schemes have encouraged many young individuals to embark on the path of self-employment. At the same time, various government departments are actively engaged in new recruitments. An official spokesperson said that the present government had taken substantial measures to combat unemployment within the state. He highlighted that the state has not only facilitated government job placements for its youth but has also invested in enhancing their skill, making them more employable in the private sector. Over the period spanning 2014 to 2023, a commendable number of over 1,10,000 youth have secured government positions. Further, Chief Minister Sh Manohar Lal has announced to provide an additional 60,000 jobs this year, with recruitment already in progress for 41,217 of these positions. In addition, Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam currently has a workforce of approximately one lakh employees in the state. Further, the youth have found opportunities for both employment and self-employment within the private sector. Since 2014, over 12 lakh individuals have gained employment in various industries. Apart from this, a remarkable 16.85 lakh people have benefited from the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana. The Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Scheme has contributed to the employment of 38,000 youth. The Saksham Yuva Yojana has provided livelihood for 1.71 lakh Saksham Sarathi, while 34,000 youth have secured opportunities through 78,000 Antyodaya Utthan Melas. Furthermore, more than 27,000 young individuals have secured employment through various Rozgar melas. The state government has taken a significant step by granting 75 percent reservation in private sector jobs to the youth of Haryana, demonstrating a strong commitment to expand employment prospects for its residents. He said that since 2014, an impressive of over 33 lakh youth have either secured employment in the private sector or embarked on the path of self-employment by making the most of various government schemes. In addition, there are numerous individuals who have independently initiated self-employment ventures without relying on any specific government scheme or assistance.
