The work of setting up libraries in one thousand villages has been completed, by the end of this year the work of setting up libraries in 4000 villages will be completed and by the year 2024 the target of setting up digital libraries in all the villages of the state will be achieved. Dushyant Chautala said this while addressing a public meeting at village Ghirai in Hisar district. He said permanent arrangements are being made for drainage of rain water with an expenditure of Rs 1,100 crores by the state government in order to protect the crops. He stated that from next year, arrangements will be made to ensure proper drainage of water from the water logged fields within 4 hours. He said that during the last three years, an amount of Rs. 34 thousand crores have been invested in Haryana, due to which innumerable opportunities of employment and self-employment are being made available to the youth of the state. He said that the Gram Panchayats which will provide 1 to 3 acres of land, community centres will be made in all those villages. These are being constructed in all the gram panchayats of the state where proposals have been sent for setting up community centres. The Deputy Chief Minister said that the government started the Amrit Sarovar scheme to beautify the ponds, under which more than 1400 ponds have been beautified in the state so far. Meanwhile, aryana Energy Minister Chaudhary Ranjit Singh has appealed to all the electricity consumers of the state to be alert from the thugs as nowadays there has been an increase in the cases of cyber fraud being done through fake messages or links that the consumers get on their mobile phones. He urged that no one should fall prey to these fraudsters by clicking on these fake links. Consumers should be aware of the fake messages such as Pay the electricity bill; otherwise your electricity connection will be disconnected in a few hours etc. I appeal to the general public not to click such links and beware of cyber fraudsters, said Ranjit Singh. He said that a special campaign has been launched by the power DISCOMs to make the people aware of these cyber thugs as they are adopting new methods everyday to cheat people. These days, many cases have been reported where many electricity consumers are getting a fake message on their mobile citing that their electricity bill is due and will be disconnected if they do not pay the asked amount, informed Ranjit Singh. Singh said that not only this, these fraudsters also threaten the consumers to pay the electricity bill immediately else the connection will be disconnected by tonight. The Energy Minister said that the power DISCOMs do not send any such message to the consumer, nor do they warn any consumer to disconnect the power connection. Even they do not ask them to contact any number or click any link. He said that if any electricity consumer has an outstanding bill and receives such a message, then he should be careful and not click on the link sent through unknown sources.
