Himachal Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur listens to Mann Ki Baat of PM Modi

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur listened to 'Mann Ki Baat' programme of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Dreamland Hotel, Shimla today.
Chief Minister said that in the Maan Ki Baat programme the Prime Minister Narendra Modi addresses the people of the nation on All India Radio, DD National and DD News. He said that since the first episode telecasted on 3 October 2014, it has become one of the most popular programme, which has being well received by the people of the country.
Later, Jai Ram Thakur visited the Jakhu ward of the city and extended invitation to the residents of the area to be part of this mega function on the historic Ridge to mark the eighth anniversary of the NDA Government at the Centre, which would be addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Chief Minister also visited Holy lodge and handed over the invitation to Member of Parliament Pratibha Singh for the function of the Prime Minister at the Ridge.
Urban Development Minister Suresh Bhardwaj, BJP leaders Surender Thakur and Deepak were also present on the occasion among others.
CM took stock of preparation for rally of PM at Ridge
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur visited Ridge, the venue of the proposed rally of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 31st of this month to mark the completion of eight years tenure of the present Central Government and took stock of the progress. He directed the authorities to make foolproof arrangements to make the occasion an historic event and also ensure that the general public does not face any inconvenience.
Urban Development Minister Suresh Bhardwaj, State BJP In-charge Avinash Rai Khanna, President State BJP Suresh Kashyap, Chairman HIMFED Ganesh Dutt, Political Advisor to the Chief Minister Trilok Jamwal, Deputy Commissioner Shimla Aditya Negi and others were also present.
