Haryana Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya with recipients of Presidents Police Medal and Polie Medal at the investiture ceremony held on Tuesday in Panchkula

Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatraya said that the State Police has done commendable work in improving the law and order situation across the state. While acknowledging the hard work and valour with which the state police have worked, 92 officers and officials of Haryana Police have been awarded the President's Police Medal/Police Medal for rendering distinguished and meritorious services during the last four years. The Governor said this while interacting with the reporters after the Investiture ceremony organized at Indradhanush Auditorium in Panchkula, today.
Bandaru Dattatraya said that the police while working in difficult conditions to ensure the safety and security of the people. The State Police while upholding the true spirit of its slogan Service, Security and Cooperation are working round the clock to reach out to every needy in any emergency situation. He said that it is a matter of great pride that the number of women personnel is now higher and this also highlights the fact that the daughters of Haryana are also ensuring their pivotal participation in the progress of the state.
Shri Duttatraya awarded 92 officers and officials of Haryana Police with the President's Police Medal/Police Medal for rendering distinguished and meritorious services during the Investiture ceremony organized at Indradhanush Auditorium in Panchkula, today. During the ceremony, the Haryana Governor bestowed the President's Police Medal for distinguished service on 11 officers/officials and the Police Medal for meritorious service on 81 officers/officials of Haryana Police.
Speaker, Haryana Vidhan Sabha, Sh. Gian Chand Gupta, Deputy Chief Minister Sh. Dushyant Chautala, Home Minister, Sh. Anil Vij, Additional Chief Secretary, Home Sh. Rajiv Arora, DGP Haryana Sh. P.K. Agrawal, Managing Director, Haryana Police Housing Corporation Sh. R.C. Mishra, DG State Vigilance Bureau Sh. Shatrujit Singh Kapoor, ADGP CID Sh. Alok Mittal, ADGP Crime Sh. O.P. Singh and ADGP Sh. Ajay Singhal were amongst the other senior dignitaries present at the ceremony. The family members of the awardees were also seen participating in the function.Among those who received the President's Police Medal for their distinguished service are DGP (Retd) Dr. B.K. Sinha, ADGP (Admin & IT) Haryana Dr. A.S. Chawla, ADGP Navdeep Singh Virk, ADGP (Retd.) Anil Kumar Rao, ADGP (Law and Order) Sandeep Khirwar, DIG Dr. Arun Singh, Inspector (Retd.) Lakhwinder Singh, Inspector (Retd.) Gurmeet Singh, Inspectors Ramkumar, Pramod Chand, and Sub-Inspector Subhash Chander. Those who were decorated with Police Medal for meritorious services include IGP Saurabh Singh, IGP (Retd.) Bharti Arora, Superintendent of Police Vikas Dhankar, DIGs Krishan Murari, Shiv Charan and Balwan Singh, Superintendent of Police (Retd.) Ombir Singh, SPs Manbir Singh, Raj Kumar, Sumer Singh, DCP Mukesh Malhotra.
