Social Security, Women and Child Development Minister, Dr. Baljit Kaur, stated this information, emphasizing that the Punjab Government is sincerely working to eradicate malnutrition and anemia in the state. She highlighted that malnutrition affects people of all ages and efforts are being made to eliminate it. The department is actively raising awareness among the people of the state about the importance of nutrition to eradicate malnutrition. People are being educated about promoting the consumption of nutritious food, reducing malnutrition among women and children, breastfeeding and providing nutritional services and supplements. Cabinet Minister urged non-governmental organizations, the health department, and the public to collaborate in eradicating malnutrition for a healthy future for the upcoming generations.
