Ensure delivery of all online services

In order to bring far more efficiency and transparency besides fixing accountability in the functioning of Punjab Housing and Urban Development (H&UD), delivery of all the services will be ensured online to people in a time bound manner, affirmed Mr. Aman Arora, Minister in-charge of the department.
The Cabinet Minister also informed that in a first, the H&UD department has also made all the documents on file accessible to the owners of their properties, thereby bringing in 100 per cent transpanecy in functioning of the department, which will further create a mechanism that people won't need to file RTI to
access files.
Spending a long evening discussing and deliberating at IT wing of the H&UD department at PUDA Bhawan, SAS Nagar, the Housing and Urban Development Minister asked the officials concerned to create a robust online system so that people don't have to make rounds to the government offices, instead, all the services should be provided online in a timeline mandated
Mr. Aman Arora said that he will personally monitor the pendency of all the citizen services provided by H&UD department.
"Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Mann led state government has been working tirelessly to ensure seamless services to the people at their doorsteps in a transparent manner.
The Housing and Urban Development Department should come forward to revolutionize its functioning in a mission mode", he added.
The minister was apprised that as many as 25 services are being provided online on the official website of PUDA https://www.puda.gov.in/ to the citizens across all urban development authorities.
All the applications regarding these 25 services is being processed online; besides providing services i.e. real time tracking of applications, issuance of digitally signed certificate and intimation through
SMS alert.
