Dushyant Chautala opens Skill Devp Centre at Uchana

Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala inaugurated a newly constructed Skill Development Centre (CSRM) at Industrial Training Institute, Uchana Khurd on Saturday. This Skill Development Centre has been set up with collaboration of Honda India Foundation at the cost of Rs. 30 lakh.
Dushyant Chautala said that 48 such Centres have been set up across the country after the establishment of Honda India Foundation in 2019, while this Skill Development Centre has become the first centre in Haryana. He said that these days, technology is constantly changing in the automobile sector and it is required to develop skills among girl students as well. This Centre will prove to be a boon for the students who are willing to develop skills in Industrial Training Institute.
He said that in this Centre, the students would get an opportunity to learn, understand and experience about new technological creations, automobiles and two wheelers. The training regarding repairing of Honda's BS6 motorcycle will be imparted to the youth at the centre. After getting practical knowledge about Honda's products, tools and equipment, students will also be able to create self-employment opportunities. He said that keeping in view the enthusiasm of the students, the reserved seats in this Centre would also be increased in the coming time.
The Deputy Chief Minister directed the Director of the Centre and other ITI staff to give special priority while imparting training to girl students. He also informed that in future, a Driver Training Centre will also be set up in Uchana region by Transport Corporation of India. He said that this Centre will be built on 10 acres of land at a cost of about Rs. 30 crore, in which training regarding driving would
be imparted. The Deputy Chief Minister directed Sub Divisional Magistrate of Uchana to send the proposal regarding availing land for the construction of the said Centre.
