The seminar was organised at Haryana Institute of Public Administration in Gurugram on Saturday. While inaugurating the seminar, Haryana Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal said that the seminar aims to foster in-depth discussions and provide valuable insights into the multifaceted dimensions of career advancement for IAS officers. With distinguished speakers and experts from various fields, participants will gain perspectives on the challenges and opportunities associated with each career trajectory. He focused on importance of training for officers and said that it prepares the officers for the diverse roles they have to play during their service. It equips them with the necessary knowledge, skills, and values to serve effectively in various administrative positions and contribute to the development of the state the nation. On the occasion, Principal Secretary to CM Haryana V. Umashankar, Additional Chief Secretary to Government of Haryana for Finance Anurag Rastogi, Former IAS PK Das, who is now Chairman of Power Utilities Haryana and Sh. Tarun Bajaj, who is former Revenue Secretary and who is enriched with working in PMO for 5 years, shared their experiences while working in different capacities in state government as well as Central Government. Former IAS P Raghvendra Rao, who is presently serving as Chairman of Haryana State Pollution Control Board, a former IAS M Ramsekhar and Ram Kumar Ramakrishanan addressed the seminar and told the IAS officers how they can improve their efficiency. They delved on the intricacies of the roles and responsibilities within the central government, public sector undertakings, and state government.
