DW BUREAU / chandigarh The Constitution day was observed on Thursday in a befitting manner at UT Secretariat, Chandigarh with Senior officials and employees of several departments of UT Administration in attendance. On the occasion Manoj Parida, Adviser to the Administrator UT Chandigarh led in reading the Preamble of the Constitution of India along with the senior officials and to the employees/staff of the Administration and all avowed to uphold the constitutional values and principles. The Adviser spoke on the significance of the Preamble of Indian Constitution and advised all to follow it in letter and spirit as the Constitution plays an important role in the development of our Nation and is a guiding light of our democracy. It is the National duty to uphold the principles enshrined therein such as equality, liberty and brotherhood. (editor@dailyworld.in)
