Congress deligation led by Rupinder Singh Raja Gill handing over a memorandum to the SDM Samrala

On a call given by the central high command of the Congress party, the local unit of the Congress party under the leadership of halqua incharge Rupinder Singh Raja Gill staged a protest dharna in front of local S D M office against the centre government's Agnipath scheme and submitted a memorandum to the President through S D M Samrala demanding it's roll back.
While addressing the gathering Raja Gill said that the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched such an unacceptable scheme for the security forces personnels that has largely been denaunced by the aspirants. That is why a large numbers of protests are occured in the country he said.
He said Modi government is launching such schemes for its people which are not liked. He said like anti farmers law, which was to be retracted after massive agitations in capital border last year.
He said this scheme too is not accepted by the people, should be rolled back, because there is no guarantee of job and pension in this scheme. The aspirants have to return back after four year with no future of it. He demande the scheme Agnipath should be rolled back or reviewed upto the expectations of the candidates. He criticised the BJP government policies and said every section of the society was fed up with the Modi government. He said if any government has lost the faith of its people, then it has no right to be in the chair.
Prominent among others who were present at this occasion were Sunny Dua, Ajmer Singh Purba, Kasturi lal Mintu and Advocate Gagan Deep Sharma.
