CM to hold next Jan Samvad at Mahendragarh

category Regional, chandigarh, , tags Regional, chandigarh, , DW BUREAU Chandigarh The initiative of Jan Samvad programme, started by Chief Minister Manohar Lal to go among the people and interact with them as the head of the family to redress their grievances has now become a new hope for the people. The people of the villages are putting forth their demands, suggestions and problems during the programmes, which is getting on- the-spot redressal by the Chief Minister. Under the Jan Samvad programmes that started from April 2, the Chief Minister has covered Bhiwani, Palwal, Kurukshetra and Sirsa districts. Now, the Chief Minister will hold his next Jan Samvad programme at Mahendragarh district; where he will interact with the people of about ten villages. In Haryana, which is moving rapidly on the path of development; the women are also moving forward in rural areas with proper representation in politics. This has been possible only because of the policy of the state government to give 50 percent representation to women in Panchayati Raj Institutions. Consequently, active participation of women is also visible in the Jan Samvad programmes being organized in the villages. While on one hand, the women sarpanches are placing the problems and demands of their villages before the Chief Minister, on the other hand; the women and daughters of the villages are also keeping their grievances and suggestions Through the Jan Samvad programmes, the Chief Minister is also taking feedback from the public about the welfare schemes being implemented by the state government. On this, the people are giving immense support to the Chief Minister regarding various schemes including Ayushman Bharat and Chirayu Haryana Yojana, Parivar Pehchan Patra, e-Fard, automatic generation of ration card and pension etc. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister has also started a unique initiative of starting the Jan Samvad programmes by extending wishes to the children on their birthdays. Apart from this, all the written complaints submitted during the Jan Samvad programmes are being uploaded on the Jan Samvad portal for its accountability and monitoring. The concerned officers will ensure quick redressal of the grievances and the information about the same would also be shared with the complainant via message. (editor dailyworld.in)
