CM nod for 13 new works worth over Rs 51 crore

category Regional, chandigarh, , tags Regional, chandigarh, , DW BUREAU Chandigarh The Haryana Government has decided to implement 13 new projects worth over Rs. 51 crore under Rural Augmentation programme in 3 districts namely Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, and Nuh. Chief Minister Manohar Lal today accorded administrative approval for these projects to be implemented by the Public Health Engineering Department here today. Giving more information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that new works include Independent Water Works in village Dhigawa Jattan of District Bhiwani at a cost of Rs. 9.98 Crore, Augmentation Water Supply System and Construction of Water Works in village Pahari, Bhiwani at a cost of Rs. 8.42 Crore, Augmentation Water Supply System and Construction of 2nd Water Works in Village Kural, Bhiwani at cost of Rs. 8.31 crore, Independent Water Works in village Kharkari of District Bhiwani at a cost of Rs. 7.98 Crore, Independent Canal Based Water Supply Scheme in village Roopgarh of District Bhiwani at a cost of Rs. 4.30 Crore, Ensuring Canal Based Water Works and Laying the balance pipe lines in Village Barsana of District Charkhi Dadri at a Cost of Rs. 2.48 Crore. Furthermore, Construction of additional tank repair of existing structures and laying the pipe line in village Kalali of District Charkhi Dadri at a cost of Rs. 1.25 Crore, Renovation of existing structures and laying the balance pipe lines in village Badhwana, Charkhi Dadri at a cost of Rs. 1.12 Crore, Providing Distribution Pipe Line and Augmentation of water supply scheme in village Garanpura Kalan, Bhiwani at a cost of Rs. 1.36 crore, Construction of additional tank, filter bed and repair of existing structures at water works in village Pehladgarh, Bhiwani at a cost of Rs. 73.64 lakh, Construction of one additional tank at water works in village Dulheri, Bhiwani at a cost of Rs. 45.91 lakh, Construction of an additional tank in village Nandgaon, District Bhiwani, at a cost of Rs. 37.14 lakh. The spokesperson further informed that apart from this an estimate amounting to Rs. 4.96 crore has been approved for deepening and rejuvenation of 46 tubewells at 23 villages of District Nuh in view the low discharge being provided by various tubewells installed in Ferozepur Jhirka Assembly Constituency of District Nuh. These villages are Pattan Udaipuri, Rawli, Kubdawas, Pathkhori, Hassanpur Bilonda, Ferozepur Jhirka, Thekri, Gyasniyabass, Rangala, Dhamala, Nasirbass, Notki, Silkoh Devla Nagli, Sadain, Kansali, Ghagas, Kotla, Baded, Dhondal, Nawli, Chitoda, Chandraka, Biwan Basaimeo. The spokesperson said that Haryana is a forerunner in providing piped water supply facilities in the rural areas. The drinking water supply schemes are predominantly based on tubewells surface sources and Ranney Wells. (editor dailyworld.in)
