At the beginning of the program, the author of the book, Gursevak Singh Dhillon welcomed the authors and briefly told the audience about his writing process. This is the third book of Gursevak Singh Dhillon. Before this, he penned Maharaja Ranjit Singh Ki Mrityu and Puran Bhagat Da Kissa . These books have proved to be very popular among the readers. In his keynote address, eminent Punjabi story writer Surinder Rampuri said that Gursewak Singh Dhillon also wrote poetry, ghazals and songs. He has expertise in writing Kavishar Prasang. He made his mark in poetry literature with his first book Kissa Purna Bhagat . He said that the incidents written in the book are written about the bravery and sacrifice of Guru Bhagat Namdev Ji, Bhai Nand Lal Goya, Wali Kandhari and martyrs. He said that Gursevak Singh Dhillon has extensive knowledge about Chhand Vidhan . While writing the context, he has used different verses with great ease. In composing the presented book, he has used verses like Jhok, Dotara, Mirza, Vaar, Korda, Garhi, Kali, Pauri, Kamani, Baint, Kafi and Deor. Chief Guest of the function, eminent Punjabi writer Harpal Singh Pannu said that many books are passed from hand to hand, but books like Gursevak Guljaran are worth preserving.
