Senior Congress Leader Bajwa said that the Jalandhar by-election would prove to be the beginning of the end of AAP s deceitful politics. A sudden downfall in the AAP s popularity graph can be gauged from the fact that it could not find a single volunteer within the party to contest Jalandhar s by-election. The AAP government has apparently lost its credibility. Before the assembly election in Punjab, the AAP claimed and promised on various platforms that their candidates would be from the common families and from non-political backgrounds. Look what they have been doing now. They have been luring workers and politicians from the opposition parties. Are these the kind of ethics they assured to bring in Punjab Why didn t AAP give party tickets to some Bhola Pakorian Wala or Bittu chaa wala for the Jalandhar by-poll , Bajwa added. The opposition leader said that there have been speculations in the political arena of Punjab that a rift between Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and AAP supremo and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has developed over the past couple of months. Let s see how long they are going to last. Similar is the situation with BJP. The BJP in Punjab has failed to find a candidate within the party to contest Jalandhar by-poll. They have sped up their poaching activities in Punjab perhaps to find a candidate for Jalandhar. SAD leader and former MLA Inder Iqbal Singh Atwal son of former Punjab assembly Speaker and Lok Sabha deputy Speaker Charanjit Singh Atwal now has joined BJP.
