The Punjab Government on Friday transferred 28 police officers, including 23 IPS officers. IGP Gurpeet Singh Bhullar has been posted as IG (Provisioning) while Deepak Pareek has been posted as SSP, SAS Nagar, Mohali in place of Sandeep Kumar Garg.

According to an order issued by the Home Department, Rakesh Kaushal has been posted as DIG Crime, Punjab while Naveen Singla, DIG (Intelligence) has been posted as the new DIG of Jalandhar Range. Harjeet Singh will look after the work of DIG, Vigilance Bureau, Punjab at SAS Nagar, Satinder Singh will look after the work of DIG Border Range, Harmanbir Singh will look after the work of Joint Director, MRS, Punjab Police Academy, Phillaur.

Ashwai Kapur has been posted as DIG Faridkot Range, Vivek Sheel Soni is AIG Personnel, CPO, Punjab Police Headquarters, Nanak Singh is the SSP of Patiala, Gurmeet Singh Chauhan is the AIG, AGTF, Punjab, Sandeep Kumar Garg is AIG, Intelligence-III, Punjab in place of Charanjit Singh, Amneet Kondal is the new SSP of Bathinda, Charanjit Singh is the SSP of Amritsar Rural, Bhagirath Singh Meena has been posted as SSP Mansa, Varun Sharma has been given the charge of AIG, Provisioning, Punjab in addition to SSP, Sadak Surakhya
