DW BUREAU / Chandigarh The four-day long CII Chandigarh Fair 2022 concluded its Silver Jubilee edition on Monday with enthusiastic zeal. The concluding day of the sought-after Fair witnessed tricity residents making a beeline till late evening hours to grab hold of the best deals and attractive discounts on the exquisite Diwali collection this season. The Fair concluded to an overwhelming response. After a gap of two years, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) brought back North India's Premier Retail Destination to Chandigarh with wonderful exhibitors from around the country. Shri Banwarilal Purohit, Hon'ble Governor Punjab and Administrator UT Chandigarh, had inaugurated the Fair on 14th October. Visitors made the most of attractive discounts offered by a majority of stall owners on Diwali gift items, festive decorations, Turkish lights, handloom, accessories, home décor, wall hangings, jewellery, clothes, food items, etc. at the Fair. "We had been looking forward to CII Chandigarh Fair this year. Before COVID, we had been coming regularly here for our Diwali shopping that saved us multiple trips to the market otherwise. This year's collection has been excellent and there are a lot of options to choose from ? I personally loved the Kashmir and West Bengal stalls with their amazing clothes collections," said Neha, a resident of Panchkula. "Being a car enthusiast, I loved the entire four-wheeler display and especially how despite the crowd the salespersons at each stall were helpful in explaining features of their car models.," said Abhinandan, a resident of Zirakpur.
